21/08/09 Art In Algebra cd launch: Awesome vibe, great set, rocking performance.
I was really hoping that the photographer from the night would have put up shots by now so I could post them. But considering it has been a week I will make do with the only dodgy quality ones that I obtained ;)
my outfit for the night
The stage got inavded halfway through the last song
I searched everywhere for my tutu skirt the other night only to realise it had been left at a house party in balmain (don't ask)... I cant see me getting it back anytime in the near-distant future which makes the image of this stylish lass even more painful :(
Agyness Deyn has always had such an effortlessly cool and quirky style. After looking through a ton of pictures of her I've decided that tonight when I go to the Art In Algebra cd launch I will be channelling Aggy!
So expect an outfit post (my first one!) to follow over the next few days...
As a lover of all things animal print, seeing this coat promptly made me go slightly insane. I knew right then and there I had to have that coat! In a frenzy I translated Swedish to English to try discover where it was from determined that I would somehow get my hands on it... Only to find out that it had been hand-made (knitted) by her aunt! booo :(
I am currently knitting myself a scarf and it has only taken a thousand years so far, so I reckon I could possibly knit a similar coat by say.. the year 5278?
Didn't her mother ever tell her not to play with her food? Nonetheless this scale model of San fransisco made entirely out of jelly (or jell-o, depending where your from) is a truly eye-catching piece of art! I am absolutely in love with all the colours and the detail she has gone into :)
