we'll ramble round down in my summer sheets

I finally got a dose of sunshine over the weekend!
Headed straight for the beach :)

It has got me finally thinking about swimsuits for the summer.

I am definitely going to invest in a one piece and this gorgeous nautical inspired swimsuit by Jets is currently on my radar!

As for a two piece (bikini) there are waaaay too many to choose from!
And I can't decide between the many different styles; there are studs, floral, sequins, graphic prints, crochet and block colour to name a few.. not to mention the actual shapes like triangle and bandeau.
HELP! haha

Social Currency

One can never get sick of Erin Wasson...

Everything about her just screams cool. The clothes, the accent, the I-so-didn't make-any-effort way she presents herself. Sighhh

Model, Muse, Stylist, Designer.
That is pretty much my ideal set of careers in that exact order :)

G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S

Perth Fashion Festival wrapped up last week...
The stand-out parade for me was Wheels and Dollbaby. The designer Melanie Greensmith is ahhhmazing ;)

I loved everything about the collection; the glamour, the red lips, the hair and the clothes of course!

Here are some photos from the talented
Stefan Gossati who was the official catwalk photographer for pff.

Rain rain go away :(

It is pouring down outside. And so so windy. This weather really blows (pun not intended).
Where is the springtime sunshine?
Seriously...

I want to be all tanned and have my hair that lovely colour that I enjoy.
Like these ladies :)

A little bit artsy

[leather jacket-AGENT NINETYNINE, white tee-AA, grey hoodie-BONDS, shorts-LEE]

Yesterday I was in a bit of a creative mood :)

I spent the day doing up an old desk by covering it in pictures and quotes (all fashion and music related of course) which I now have to glaze, I also started making a feathered headdress (just because I can) and I FINALLY fixed my moccasins (the shoe repair man was going to charge me $30 for something I could do myself)! YAY
(just a heads up that moccasins don't do so well in moshpits or on skateboards if your prone to falling off)

;)

I shall put up pictures of all my finished creations when they are complete!

In the meantime here are some lovely pictures of Kate Moss and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley which inspired me to fix my boots in the first place!

And now you want to kiss me coz I look so good

Wowwww. Alexis Bledel has grown up so much!
She was always quite pretty but I never took much notice because she seemed so shy, but now she is unbelievably GORGEOUS :) Great taste in clothes and prettier then ever, keep an eye on her!
Watch her interview with another gorgeous lady Alexa Chung here:

On Yer Bike

Why I Am Not On A Bicycle Amongst These Images:

1. The Helmet Issue. How come they don’t have to wear helmets? It is illegal in my fine country (Australia) to ride without one, which sucks because I would look so much better with my hair flowing out behind me ;)

2. Riding in dress/heels/sandals usually doesn’t work. There are many reasons for this, such as (a) flashing everyone (b) something getting caught somewhere resulting in you and the ground getting to know each other a whole lot better

3. Pink bikes that have streamers coming out of them are actually pretty hard to find (unless of course you happen to be 8 years old). I would settle on silver but old school looking bicycles cost way more then the usual type

4. Speaking of the usual type… These types of bicycles would probably fail if they were ever used for actual exercise! I think they are actually made to ride around town in your Sunday-best ready for the paparazzi

5. Finally, I think I have a phobia of bicycles after one too many rides gone wrong… This could be because I usually try to dismount it before it has fully stopped, resulting in me doing a manoeuvre that looks oddly similar to a commando roll.
Thankyou for listening :)

"In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different."

I am currently reading the most fabulous book on style :) :) :)

Photobucket

The Little Black Book of Style, written by Nina Garcia is a book I would highly recommend to anyone interested in not just fashion but style.
As Coco Chanel famously said, "Fashion fades, style is eternal."

The Little Black Book of Style is a straight to the point, informative piece of writing with contributions from many important and influential people within the fashion industry, including two of my current favourite designers; John Galliano and Diane von Furstenberg, as well as Australian model Elle Macpherson.

The book is filled with many beautiful illustrations by Ruben Toledo, and also has inspiring quotes relating to each specific topic that the author discusses.

Seriously ladies/lads get your hands on this if you haven't done so already!
